Throwin’ it back today with a rad mini-documentary on the 2011 Quiksilver Pro New York and local surf star, Balaram Stack. See where the native Point Lookout, NY pro surfer developed his reputation as a ripper before he began his career and became known for his repertoire of aerials and ability to ride in the barrel of waves
Surf stud Balaram Stack is the latest team member ours featured in What Youth’s “Off Beat” series. He may be a man of few words but we got him talking about the important things: meat, music, chicks. Check out our down time with him, as we get real, like really real, man.
In another edition of Off Beat we kicked it with Skullcandy surfer Dillon Perillo and dove deep into the caverns of his soul. We talked music, holidays, and life. Get some laughs from our time with Dillon - we don’t know always know what he’s talking about it but its cool, neither does he.
They’re funny, they’re tan, they’re talented. We partnered with our homies over at What Youth to dig deeper into day-to-day awesomeness of our surf team members Tanner Gudauskas and Kolohe Andino. These boys grind through What Youth’s off-beat questions with casually cool responses that only a mother could love. Kidding, we thought they were hilarious.
The Stonp “Autumn of Death Tour” van parked at our office in Tokyo for their final showing of the “Stonp or Die"premiere. Skullcandy helped host the epic event attended by about 200 people and many more who overflowed onto Cat Street in Harajuku. We set up monitors both inside and projecting out, toward the street, so that everyone got a chance to peep the new feature. Snow team member, Kazu Kokubo, packed the showroom with friends and family to check out his starring role in the film.
